Thankful for Friends

This past weekend my husband and I hosted our Annual Friendsgiving.  We transformed our backyard into a beautiful fall setting for 30 guests.  My friends from college and I have been doing this wonderful tradition for 14 years.  This year was extra special with all the growing families.  

There is family and there is friends and then there is friends who are FAMILY.

Work Life

I'm Back at work and it couldn't be harder being away from my family, but these two make it so fun.  My GUESS family has helped me get through these rough few days.  Every day gets a little easier.  My goal now is to work on doing what I love, but with flexible hours at work.  Being with my children is a priority.  They are growing so fast and I don't want to miss a second of these amazing years.

This is my last week of maternity leave.  I'm trying to cherish every moment with these two cutie pies.  Right as I feel that I'm settling in as a mom of two, it's time to go back to work.  I feel so blessed to have these two in my life and will do everything I can to make sure I make more of an effort to have a work / life balance.     

Sleepless in Seattle

 Off to Seattle to with our little guy to visit friends.

 First stop...Pike Place Market

 We ate our way through Pike Place Market.  Here are few of our favorite places.

 Le Panier had amazing pastries to satisfy that sweet tooth. 

Michou Deli for a quick delicious sandwich and pasta salad.

 Piroshky, Piroshky for sweet or savory Russian pastries.

 The first Starbucks is located in Pike Place Market, but no need to wait in the crazy long line.  There is a Starbucks on every corner of Seattle.

Westward - Beautiful ambiance and incredible oysters.  Perfect for a mid day snack.

We fell in LOVE with Seattle and look forward to many more trips up there to visit our dear friends.
