Ice, Ice, Baby...
After watching the Pete Frates video below, I was drawn into the social media phenomenon know as the ALS #IceBucketChallenge. Pete's story is heartbreaking and courageous at the same time. It doesn't seem fair that a great guy like Pete who had an incredible future ahead of him was diagnosed with this fatal disease. As a mom of two boys it hits close to home and makes me want to hug my boys even harder tonight.
Working in the fashion industry I'm constantly telling myself during stressful times, "we aren't saving lives." Now is my chance to actually make a difference and hopefully bring awareness to ALS.
